Question of the Week: What do you think about school uniforms? Do your kids/grandkids wear school uniforms?
If my kids were to wear school uniforms, then that's okay.  I personally love style and buying clothes.  But that's selfish of me since I do understand the concept OF school uniforms.  So, I'm pretty much 60/40 on the subject with 60% yes to non-school uniforms.

  1. I had to wear a uniform to school. It took the guess work out of figuring out what to wear every morning, so that's a plus.

  6. New follower! I loved it when my daughet wore uniforms to school. I think it cuts down on the kids feeling pressured to wear name brand clothes or simply looking like the next person.

Thanks for hosting the blog hop!

  7. well I didn't have uniforms in school and my daughter will not be in school anytime soon....I am not sure how I feel. On one hand its great they know what they are wearing to school but on the other hand, they loose some individuality! I guess I am on the fence!
    Happy Monday!

  8. I wore school uniforms when I was growing up in middle school, and I hated it personally. I wanted to wear my cute pink top with black pants, or .. you know! Individuality, exactly. But then again, pressure from other kids and name brand clothes ... is sucks so uniforms are a must! I do, however, buy my kids name brand anyways to keep up with the fashion so, I wonder if thats why I don't mind either way?

  11. I like the idea of uniforms. I grew up poor and I remember how hard it was for me not having the clothes that all my friends had. I think wearing uniforms would take the pressure off the kids feeling like they needed to fit in.

  13. I'm somewhere in between. Not necessarily one style in one color, but a few choices in a few colors so that there is still some choice. That would also help in the later grades when one style would not necessarily look flattering on every body type.

If schools would have dress codes and enforce them I wouldn't have as much trouble with what kids wear to school.

Thanks for the follow, I'm not sure I would have gotten to your blog otherwise.
