We went to Pei Wei for Dinner last night. mmmmmm .. amazing Chinese!  Anyways, my dad passed 4 years ago from cancer. He was a professional body builder, very tan, unique Czechoslovakian face, etc etc ...
Well, I had Colton in his carseat and I went to find a spot to sit.  I seen this man.  For a second I thought he was my dad! I thought he was my dad long enough for me to stare at this man and say in my head, "Is that dad? Wait, was I dreaming all along?  ... Dad?" Damn it no!  I just stared at him.  I'm sure he thought I was nuts but looking at that man, I wanted to hug him and ask to take a picture with him.  I even asked Bobby if that would be strange!  He of course said yes but I miss my dad so much =[  I want to hug him just one ... more ... time ...

Better late then never right? We were so busy today! Enjoyed a full Memorial day with my sister & her boy.  Zoo time!!!

I'm shaking!

I'm nervous, scared, mad, about to hide!  I don't talk to my "mother" / most of my family.  Long story short, she kills me inside. Hurts me.  Does whatever she can to poison me .. but thats kind of besides the point.  I was invited to this HUGE party.  Its a Judo Annual Party.  I grew up playing Judo and now Chayden is playing Judo. I see on the FB event invites that my "mother" was invited.  I feel like vomiting.  WHY?  She doesn't play and has zero part in this?  I hope she doesn't go.  I really want to go and having her say "YES to Attending" shouldn't ruin my plans in going! Daaamn it! I plan on going.  I'm sure she'll not even come near me anyways.
I have to vent so bad, I just don't know what to say or how to say it.  My husband Bobby is like "meh. lets go. who cares .." about it.
I guess, what would anybody else do in my situation?

{Review & Giveaway} Rattled Rump Cloth Diaper - US

Have you ever checked out RattleMyCrib off of Etsy?  I have never came across Jasmine's shop before until just recently.   She was amazing to work with and very friendly =]  Besides Diapers, she customizes Crib sets!!
If you take a look around her shop, you can see that you choose the fabric and the kind of diaper you want, including an AIO, Pocket or Cover.
I got a Rattled Rump AIO Cloth Diaper for review with suedecloth inner and Dr. Seuss cotton print that Chayden picked out.  He's obsessed with Dr. Seuss!

Materials:  Rattled Rump Custom Cloth Diapers include a cotton print of your choice on the outside, super soft suedecloth inner (standard) or microfleece inner (tell her you want microfleece instead in a message if preferred), soft elastic in a variety of colors to go with your diaper fabric choice, waterproof PUL & one row of cross over Snaps.

The AIO's have sewn in absorbancy materials made up of two 100% cotton velour backed terry layers sandwiching two layers of zorb.
The Rattled Rump Custom Cloth Pocket Diapers & Covers include one 3.5X12" insert which is made up of two 100% cotton velour backed terry layers sandwiching two layers of zorb.

Features:  I own zero diapers with suedecloth.  They are all the typical microfleece so I was excited to feel a suedecloth inner against Colton's booty.  =]  The suedecloth wicks away moisture excatly like it states.  I had taken the diaper off of Colton, completely soaked that I could ring a river right out of it and his butt cheeks were dry and soft!  Yes, I kissed them because I always do =]  Who doesn't kiss their baby's tush?

Sizing:  OS fitting 8-35lbs.  Colton is 18 lbs 27" of chubbies and he fits PERFECT on the smallest setting!  I can see him move up a snap in about ... a few more months.  Most of his other OS diapers are already on the second snap setting.
The fit around Colton's belly and legs is tight, but not the tight to where he gets red marks.  Tight to the point that he is comfortable and leakproof for sure!  This is seriously one of the best fitting diaper he owns!  I need a huge stash, I swear!
Can we talk about trim?  Totally trim!!! This is such a trim diaper and it fits under all of Colton's pants with zero problems =]  There is zero bulk what so ever.  Oh gaaaaaawd I love this cloth diaper!  *swoooooooons*

Laundry:  "All diapers are washed once after construction with dye and fragrance free detergent to insure strong, efficient seams. Please allow three additional washes for AIOs and inserts to reach max absorbency."
I got the diaper and tossed it right away in the diaper wash.  My typical process, nothing special.  Colton got to wear it THAT day (I do diaper laundry first thing in the morning so diapers can sun all day long) because with new diapers, I toss in the dryer.  The Rattled Rump AIO Cloth Diaper came out DRY!! Not even a chance of dampness like my other AIO's, which take a few more hours to dry straight out of the dryer.  This AIO is the fastest drying AIO cloth diaper I can possibly imagine!  When I hang it out to air dry after the first initial "just arrived wash",  its dry by night time.  My other AIO's have to take another day outside to completely dry.
Oh, absorbency.  The absorbency is immaculate!  I left Colton in his Rattled Rump AIO cloth diaper for well over 4 hours because I wanted to test the absorbency. Lets say he had zero leaks what so ever and I took the diaper off because I wasn't comfortable with him wearing the cloth diaper any longer.  I took the diaper off and I swear to GAWD it gained 5lbs!

Night Time Diaper?:  AIO's are never a night time diaper for us personally unless it has an extra pocket to stuff.  So no.  I should test it out because during that 4 hour nap, that diaper held up nice!  But I'm sure the AIO diaper is good enough for long naps and long shopping trips.  I wouldn't know about the pocket diaper but with me, I would add another insert to ensure zero leaks by the morning.

Rating:  5/5.  Basically, my favorite AIO!  This diaper does NOT go in the end of my stash line.  After its dried, it ends up as the first diaper in the diaper stash.

{Discussion} MommyTime: Baths

Bath time is not just for kids.  I used to take baths when I was pregnant with Chayden but they never seemed to help soothe and relax me like most adults said it does.  Maybe I was still to young at 21?  I just felt awkward sitting there, alone.  Chayden was born almost 5 years ago.  Since then, I started to take baths since being pregnant with Colton a year ago.  I ended up feeling so relaxed in the tub that I ended up wanting a water birth for Colton.  I did not end up with a water birth in the end because he was going into sciatic arrest (HB:  170's+) so they had to monitor him closely.  I now love to bathe with Colton and take my own baths when the kids are sleeping.  I love to relax in the tub after a tiring day.  Like I said, I don't know what it was before, but I could never relax in the tub.  Maybe it comes with age.  =]

I love to have the hottest water possible with some bath goodies.  Be it bath bombs or bath fizzies, etc.  Just as long as the scent is refreshing, relaxing &/or soothing.  I always have to have a magazine or book to read.  Mostly a trashy romance novel =]  I love bubbles but its not really necessary for me.  Although I think I should add that to my list of goodies.  

I love to bathe in fruity scents the most.  Although I can work with anything.  When I hop out of the tub,  I like to toss on some vanilla lotion for that mixture of a fruity vanilla experience.  This is when I want to feel young and fresh.  Sometimes I want to feel sexier, so I'll toss some rose scented or other musky scent into the tub and finish off out of the tub with Vanilla .. again.  I think Vanilla seems to mesh with most scents.  

Anyways .... Onto you!! Can you answer me some questions?  I'd love to get to know you all a little better =]  Maybe I can learn something from you and your choices.

What are your must have bath time essentials?  For example, do you enjoy candles and soft music in the background?  Maybe a book and oils?  

When in the bath, what scents do you usually prefer?  Do you take those scents with you into your body care like lotions?  Or do you linger onto something else?

Maybe you're the old me and don't ever take baths.  How come?  

Thank you so much! I can't wait to hop in the tub tonight with some bath melts from Bodycare Luxuries on Etsy.  I come out of the tub feeling soft, silky, smooth and ready to relax for the rest of the night. =]

{Review & Giveaway} Crawler Covers - US & CA

I received 2 free pairs of Crawler Covers about 3 weeks ago from Crawler Covers Etsy Shop for review.  During that time, these Crawler Covers have been washed and worn many ... many ... many times!!!  The wear and tear on these bad boys are awesome!  When I look at them today, its like I had never washed them yet.  Chayden, almost 5 years old now *yikes!* loves to wear these on his arms and show them off.

Colton, on the other hand *sigh* likes to take them off and suck on them. =] It takes him a good while to pull the baby leg warmers off because they fit tight around the legs without leaving red marks.  Colton wont stop pulling until he can suck and snuggle.

Who complimented on how cute the Skulls & stripes were? Who complimented on how the black ones totally went with everything?  EVERYBODY!! I even had strangers stop me to mention how the baby leggings (as they called them) looked like they would be perfect for pretty much anything as far as changing diapers and protecting knees while crawling.  =]  DING DING DING!!! You are Correct!

The Crawler Covers even kick butt with cuteness under a skirt or tutu for little girls. <3 awww!  Like Chayden, older kids can look pretty rockin' while wearing these as arm "covers".  Potty training goes smoother for the little tykes I'm sure!  Obviously we aren't at that point in our lives yet, but I can just imagine Colton having to run to go potty and not having to worry about belts, unsnapping, unbuttoning or pulling down pants.  You get the drift ...
OMG guess what!! Have your little dudes or girlies wear these under pants if you live in Alaska, Minnesota, or any other crappy cold & snowy state.  Don't hate on me.  I personally hate the cold and snowy seasons.  Its not my thing.  But the Crawler Covers will make the season much cuter & warmer under baby / toddler pants =]

Laundry:  I wash these with like colors with my other regular clothes.  Or, if you're normal like I am ... NOT, then you can toss these in with your baby's individual laundry.  I dry in the dryer on high heat and we're good.  No weird stuff.  Still like brand new right out of the dryer.  =]

Sizes:  Itty Bitty (Infant Size): 8-10 inches long and fit newborn to 12 months.
Toddler Size: 13-15 inches long and fit newborn to 8 Years old.
"The toddler size will fit newborns, and will scrunch up on their legs until they fully grow into them. I suggest getting the toddler size for children 6 months and older."

Rating:  5/5  I love these so much that I am going to have to get a few more pairs!  I have a baby shower coming up so I'll have to find a few girly pairs.

Price:  $8.00.  You can't get better than that!  These are totally worth more!

May Birchbox & review

This morning I got my very first Birchbox.  Its a $10 monthly subscription which you can cancel at any time & the box contains beauty products.  I am a whore ... er, I mean beauty whore =]  This monthly box allows me to peek inside, try out the samples and purchase what I love or hate on what ... I hate. =/  Let me tell you what I got and my reviews / opinions on the items so far.

AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream.  sample size 3.4 oz.  Full size RV $20

This satiny cream is rich without being heavy, and sinks into skin for major therapeutic benefits.

Did they mention the smell? Gah no.  Its horrific!  Reminds me of my grandmother.  Totally not a scent I'd EVER pick out for my hands or body.  BUT I can say ... it does sink right into your skin.  You only need very little.  My hands felt like silk.  I love this stuff, in the silky side of the fence.  I would totally get a full sized, if there was a different scent.  I cannot imagine walking around smelling like death. 

BVLGARI;  Mon Jasmin Noir.  sample size 50 ml.  Full Size RV $80.

The Italian fragrance house's latest winner has waves of ripe fruit with a base of heady jasmine.

Oh dear gawd no.  Again, grandma in the house!  I cannot stand the smell.  I'm more of a fruity fruity girl.  If not fruity, vanilla musky smell.  Oh dear, I don't know what to say.  I'm pretty grossed out. Maybe I'll toss some on if I don't want my husband near me.? =[ LOL.

Archipelago Pomegranate soap.  sample size 6.8 fl oz.  Full Size RV $12.50

A triple-milled (read:  ultra-smooth) soap loaded antioxidant-rich white tea and pomegranate to gently clean hands and body. 

This soap is sooooo silky!  The smell is amazing!!! I am going to use this instead of my body wash until its gone.  I will most likely get a full sized version of this.  It leaves your hands / body silky and smelling delicious! 

{FULL SIZED} Stila Eyeshadow in mambo.  Full sized pan 0.09 oz RV $18. 

An easy-to-blend shadow with a velvety texture.  Apply it dry for a wash of color, or add a little water to turn it into a liner.

I love Stila shadows!!! This is one pretty purple color I do not have.  When swatched, there was a bluish / pinkish duo-chrome.  This is sooo pigmented and buttery!  This box was worth it to get just this eyeshadow! It seemed like everybody else got a brown, gold, or black Stila Shadow this month.  I don't know why I got mambo, but I'm so happy!  The more makeup, the better! 

{TREAT} Tiny Prints Blank Card. 

What the hell am I suppose to do with a blank card?  Maybe somebody up above is telling me I need to send a card to someone special.  I'll sit and ponder who I need to write to and I'll send it off =] Oh, but the card is super adorable though!  So I might write to myself and keep it on my nightstand to remind me of how awesome I am =]

So all in all, I was 70% satisfied with my first Birchbox.  I hope the following months are better.  The Stila eyeshadow is what made the cake.  If it weren't for that, I think I'd be crying.  =/  I look forward to next months Birchbox.  I'm kind of excited!!! =]
